Parallel provide a ‘Street Marshall’ foot patrol service in community areas, such as city and town centres where the local Police require additional resource to assist with certain duties. These Street Marshalls undergo vigorous training courses such as Mental Health and Domestic Violence. Wearing blue tabards and protective vests, our Street Marshalls work alone and with Police Officers to keep the streets safe and help vulnerable people get home.
What do 'Street Marshall' do?
Our Street Marshalls are on the look out for vulnerable men and women who may be under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. Working with the local Councils and Police, our Street Marshalls gather intelligence whilst patrolling the streets, feeding information through to the Police Control & CCTV Room. If required, our Street Marshalls will be assisted by the Police, but in many cases will handle "low level" situations themselves recording any actions on their Body Worn Video Cameras
